I often say that meditation plays a very important role in boosting your overall breathing in the most proficient manner. Longer slower breaths will help you in relieving your stress, lowering down your blood pressure and slows your heart rate, thus improving your lifestyle in a brilliant way. Here are four easy steps for a better breathing:
- Just take ten minutes out of your busy schedule and focus on deep breaths. Sit in fresh air and expand and contract your diaphragm to its full potential and just feel the stress melt away
- Now take deep breaths through your nose and exhale through your mouth. Don’t do it rapidly. Give five seconds to the inhalation process and five seconds to the exhalation process
- Try to go for six breaths in a minute. An average person can go for twenty breaths in a minute, but that would be too fast. Just aim for six breaths in a minute.
- Whenever you find yourself in deep stress, just make sure that you take some break from your task (in whatever you are indulged in) and focus only on breathing.
